I have the misfortune to conduct business with this bank. In a business district like Makati, they only have 2 ATMs, no customer care hotline (so goodluck to you if your card ever got eaten in the middle of the night), a very slow response team should they experience downtimes in their CASA and ATM departments. And when their system get busted, they get busted big time, as I have experienced more than a couple of times. If you try to call their phone number (02-8189511), ask to be transferred to ATM (if their system is offline) or to CASA (if they are connected to the ATM network but your cash still doesnt show up when you do an account balance inquiry). 99.99% of the chances are either your call get transferred to another department without even asking what your concern was (I have to suffer the same problem several times, as some stupid employee doesn't know proper phone etiquette gets me bumped from one department to another-- which most likely is Datacom, which for all the world, I dont know why my call gets routed there.) The main reason they gave me why they don't have enough ATMs are that they are not a Commercial Bank. STUPID reason. Whether you are a Commercial or a non-commercial bank that deals with depositors- it is imperative in any business that it would be CONVENIENT and EASY in dealing with you. After all, it is because of these depositors that your stupid bank ever existed. If having more ATMs is financially unsound due to the high cost of each ATM unit, then make sure that the people running your IT, ATM, CASA department are not fools who hijacks the whole bank by their frequent downtimes. FIRE whoever is responsible in that department. And if that cant be remedied, then at least have the whole freaking staff of DBP at least know how to handle phone calls. IF the problem is that DBP Admin is too stingy to upgrade their antiquated facilities then, OFF with those lazy maggots, they dont deserve to be in this business. DBP is a government bank, and being a government they should be servicing the people in the proper way. By next month, Ill be shifting to other banks. Im not going to lose any sleep anymore to this anti-Development Bank of the Philippines.
