  5. I was told they are banned in like 5 or 6 golf courses in the Philippines because of crass and rude behavior big time.

  6. On my flight back, one Korean man was reprimanded by smoking on a nonsmoking flight. Good thing I learned some Korean so I was able to ask some Koreans around to translate for the flight crew. Stupid

  7. I heard that too! Sana hindi na lang natin tinulungan nuong Korean War. On the upside, there are some nice Koreans that I have met, one is a producer of Full House whose girlfriend is a Filipina.

  8. i dont know if you heard this story na, lastyear pa ata to e, sa tagalog na lang kasi mas maangas dating...

kano: steaks are abundant back home, so im gonna throw all of these steaks overboard.

koreano: kimchi is abundant back home, im gonna throw all of these kimchi overboard.

pinoy: (nag-isip sabay TINULAK ANG KOREANO SA DAGAT) koreans are abundant back home.

    XD XD XD

  15. I wish we could, but people can be too prejudiced and I am not the type of person who will let other people walk over me. At least I dint burn the whole place down. :)

  18. get along....racist...

my husband in on a mission work for the UN in syria, i live here right now. a month ago, i wanted to buy some choco eggs for my kids, the man looked at me, saw im asian, and said, "u cant afford this!"..i said pardon? he said, "u cant afford it, its 175 sy (pesos) each and i mean each!"i saíd, fine, i`ll buy the whole box...he shrugged, looked at me in a comical way and said, "we`ll its ur money and if u dont have any left ur prob".i walked out carrying a box of kinder uberraschungs eir with a smile.

no, i didnt burn his place down, i feel sorry for him.for all of them that treat us filipinos bad, most of my fellow citizens here are illegal, if caught they get beaten up, raped, abused, not fed.i know it, im with the UN, i keep an abuse filipina in my house.get along?racist?i happen to walk on streets, even with my kidsround i am asked for my price and to hop on cars...(and i am all covered here except for the hijab) racist? i even call it sexual prejudism.did i say anything?no, i walked on with dignity and cry when i get home.

my car was vandalized 2 days after i moved in on my new flat, yet my husband and i are here, working in this country to make a difference, endangering even my little kid`s lives.am i going to go back to mission life? yes, i like it, even if im on a warzone.im glad to see the UN presence is making a great impact here.

getting along and racism is a different story to people who experienced it, i am a person of color, i can never change how i am, i am asian, worst filipina, to people here, it doesnt matter if i have a degree, what my family background is, all they need is to look at me, and they see me the same way they see the others and most of the filipinos here are servants, maids,if im on an elevator, people approach me to work for them, to clean their houses, degrading to a person like me who has a degree from UP.but yes, i smile and say, yes, i`ll clean ur house.i cant help it, its their culture, all i can do is pray for me and for them

rian knows what im going through and i am proud that he can stand for himself.

  19. Same thing, while in Korea, I was never mistaken as a Filipino - always someone else. And when I told them I am Filipino they sound so surprised.

  20. chat ta dearie, im sooo pissed today!

  21. i've rarely even experienced being the object of racism in all the time that I have been abroad, living, working, studying abroad. but when I do, hey ho! the small parcel of land wherever they are standing always ends up shaking from my anger.

The best way to put them racists ignorant dumb people is to say, Yes I am Filipino, an Asian and I am no WHITE TRASH

  22. Funny thing was that some Filipinos are racists towards their fellow Filipinos.

  23. Btw, two black ESL teachers in Korea went to Seoul for the weekend. When they were in the subway, people started talking, pointing and looking at them, they phoned my friend home what they were talking in front of them and roughly told him what they heard in Korean. The Koreans said - "Ohhh a black person... (and when they saw the female black teacher)... and there is a girl too!"
